Nice seeing Doug back too.
Dougie got great reception when he came on and also at end clapped off by fans in Trinity and North.

For me Bouba was MotM. What a player he is, as good as any CM in the PL history Rodri et al.

Yep. Cash was also clapped by the remaining Forest fans when he went over at the end.

So happy Dougie got a good reception. Nice.

Well done Villa, very comfortable game, but very well managed.

Nice seeing Doug back too.

What has gone wrong that he is not starting in that midfield?

Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson is the best CM in the league, and possibly Europe and the world.

Anderson is a very good player, he’s excellent and would be a good signing, so I hope Man Utd do not sign him.

Anderson is very good and he’d fit in well with us. We won’t have the ability to lash out £70M which is what Man U will likely pay for him in the summer. Especially if he has a good WC.

One of the worst sides we'll come across. Absolutely eye bleedingly bad, low block, no ambition relegation fodder.

Thought Watkins lead the line well second half, Kamara was excellent in orchestrating the total strangulation of the game after the 3rd went in and we gave up that chance. They barely saw the ball after that.

Huge result as there is always the fear that we may have a hangover, but no issues.

They came to play narrow, vertically too, and block the passing lanes while chocking space in behind. If that Watkins chance goes in maybe it eases up sooner. Felt we really missed a winger of pace to try and detach a full back or somebody out their low block. The second was a good example of Cash being just that bit higher.

2nd in the league, you love to see it and another 43k on the attendance.

Kamara was excellent and the midfield was very good in general. It's a shame we conceded as we dominated, and it made things unnecessarily a bit nervy for a short while.

They set out their stall in Dyche fashion to defend deep and then go long ball and overall we managed the game well. The atmosphere seemed a little subdued especially in the first half, but maybe that was due to apprehension until we scored.

Weird atmosphere on TV Ads despite the attendance. We didn’t have to get out of second gear. And also the timing and manner of the goals. Ollie’s blast when a number of fans had nipped away at HT so a few empty seats. A little bit the same do SJMs. And then the bizarre nature of the third. Forest being as absolute shit as they were didn’t really trouble us.

Anderson was very quiet today. Knocked off ball a bit too. Watched game here with a Forest fan, not impressed with Dyche leaving Cash have the run of the right flank all game.

Their keeper sustained a very bad injury for the 3rd, In fact, I’d say it was the worst case of severe embarrassment I’ve seen. Surprised he wasn’t stretchered off.

Clear to see that today, the way they fooled us in to 85% possession in the first half and 73% overall was total class.
