They'll be compact & try to break the offside. If we can start well, the crowd will turn on them.

There's nothing to fear providing we don't give any gifts away.

If we can get decent money for Martinez we should take it. He's the biggest fanny since Ron Vlaar.

He’s rarely missed a game since joining us. He’s got a back issue which likely makes diving and stretching for stuff a little more challenging. By your assessment Dr Cd we may as well sell Onana, Tielemans, Barkley, Kamara, Mings, Buendia as well.

Like Bono's, I believe CD's is an honorary doctorate (of law) rather than him being a medical practitioner.

They had a good training session in Basel. They'll be fine*

*Or possibly not.

Well, if you want to mix it at the top of the table these days, you have to use your squad. But losing Pau and Martinez is going to make playing out from the back a lot harder.

If they press us high and hard, we might come unstuck today.

Are you a doctorate of law, honorary or otherwise?

As others I m worried about back five getting under pressure and a couple there then getting into mistakes. Shifting to a positive they take the positives from Basel grow further and stands up to the occasion even without some of the key players.

I would tell you. But then I'd have to invoice you.

While it is natural to feel a little more concerned without two of our top players and both a part of our defence, we also need to reassure ourselves that there is a good reason why this lot are in the bottom 3. They are quite shit. Take the game to them and their fans will turn on the players and board immediately.

Not so worried about Bizot. Pau is a big miss though. Look strong midfield

I have to admit I don't fancy us today...having won 9 of the last 10, I think we are long overdue a defeat; the atmosphere around the Billy Bonds tribute and now the goalie out.

I hope I am wrong.

Pau missing is a big problem.
Less so after Lindelof's performance midweek, I feel. Not ideal though, for sure.

Not surprised he's not playing today, it was quite odd him coming off vs Arsenal just before the end, so there must be an issue there. Even if it's only a niggle, makes sense to rest him for next week.
