Guessand has been a huge disappointment, what were we thinking. Typical Villa go ahead and then turn off, some very poor performances across the park, need to make changes.

Despite his goal, Guessand looks like he won a raffle to become a footballer.

Buendia the very definition of hero to zero so far. Looks like he’s deliberately passing to the opposition.

Guessand predictably rubbish despite the goal.

Not sure why Martinez needs a rest?

Buendia keeps trying the same through ball without success. Needed to get a hold of it when we were struggling. His touch and movement has been very sharp though.

Sancho the odd nice touch here and there but needs to make it count.

Hopefully Uni rips into them. Not that he should need to...

He'll give them a stern lecture.

Weird one. Bogarde moved to RB?

Good sub, IMO. Hopefully we control midfield a bit more, now.

I think that’s the conundrum with Buendía or players like him. He’ll often try through balls with the majority not coming off and giving possession back but you’re hoping that the few that do come off can be capitalised on.

He is.  But it’s not his fault he keeps getting picked.
