Emery needs to include him in the squad. He should be in instead of Sancho. Just give the guy a chance ffs. Also, Elliott should be included - I think he's got a couple of games left.out of the 10?

Fourth injury since joining is impressive.

He'll be fine after a summer's rest. He's just come off playing 31 games for Gremio on Brazilian pitches.

Or he’s a young player who’s moved from a different culture. He may not be any good, but I’d suggest it’s a bit premature to turn on him.

Exactly this…..

He was at the Spurs game, he was sitting close to me. Not that I would have recognised him until pointed put.

His injury record so far is poor but Ive high hopes for him as I like what I’ve seen when he’s been on. It’s early days, a young lad in a very different environment from home.

We complain about the spending constraints we are under but we did some dreadful business in the last transfer window. Between them Alysson and Brian Madja cost us about £20m. One of them seems to have vanished, the other isn't even eligible to play until next January. And let Malen go just when he was showing how good he could be.

I completely understand the frustration but I'm pleased we seem to find this £30-40m each season to speculate on youngsters.  One will come off eventually and they seem to be sold for close to what we buy them for, sometimes a profit after amortisation.  Loan deals covering most the wages.

It's a ruthless market but Brighton/Bournemouth are proof of the benefits if/when we get it right.

Socials suggest he turned 20 yesterday.  Plenty of time before he needs to be judged.

Beginning to think we should have splashed out and signed a player with 2 legs.

I think he's just waiting for the temperature to be over 28º.
