That cup exit is completely and totally on Bailey.

Bizot didn't have to do that though the same as Martinez didn't have to do it last season.

It's on Bizot, plus us being cack and stupid most of the game. It's some going to get twatted despite a number of poor decisions in our favour.

The game was 1-0 to us when he went off. How on earth is Bailey responsible for Bizot or the three goals we conceded while he wasn’t playing?

30 seconds to half time, pressing for a second and he makes a pass which is stupid in intent and worse in execution, giving them the breakaway leading to Bizot’s foul. Simple really. If he’d not been a prat , a useless prat, we’d have gone in at half time within seconds with a complete team.

I don;t agree it is all on Bailey, but Bizot was caught in that position because of the poor ball from Bailey straight to their player who dropped the ball directly into the space for the charge. Yes, he didn't make Bizot decide to dive into the player but it would have been three against one. To not think playing with 10 had the affect on the second half display is naive at best, especially with Doug and Barkley being our midfield and Rogers also being pulled away from his effective position afterwards.

But we also could have defended better with 10, the deflection took care of us winning though.

You said the defeat was completely and totally on Bailey. Factually that’s incorrect.

Well we’d been on top throughout the first half and because of him that changed. Factually that is correct. Had he not tried a silly pass with 30 seconds to half time and executed said silly pass poorly we’d not have had a desperate defending situation leading to a reduction in the number of our players. Factually that’s correct.

No one forced Bizot to make a knee high challenge is factually correct as well.

His bad pass didn’t lead directly to a goal. His bad pass led to a pass by them that led to Bizot making a stupid decision. Bad passes by players are made all the time. It isn’t why we lost. Did his pass contribute to putting us in a difficult spot. Sure. But at the time we were leading and it didn’t at all have any bearing on what immediately followed. And he wasn’t on the pitch for any of their 3 goals.

Absolute worst thing about the result is there'll be no Green Lantern at VP.

You clearly don’t like Bailey. That’s absolutely fine. I don’t much either. We are desperate to have had to bring him back and play him. I’m just not going to blame him exclusively for our defeat. He was crap like a lot of our players.

Mods move this thread to other football.
I've been back in the house 30 minutes and I'm still bloody cold and I'm pissed off that we haven't won it in my lifetime.  >:(
Vol. 70 will commence at the conclusion of R2 games in December 2026.

2027 is going to be our year.  8)
