The numbers may differ if ticket prices are lower, but my argument holds true.

Spuds' capacity is 62,850
Villa Park holds 43,205

And Spuds charge London prices.
They make a whole lot more on their hospitality packages - if the ticket price includes the catering element, then that counts as gate receipts

Only gate money will be split, concessions etc stay with the home club.

We'll still make more as I reckon as we'd charge less, so even with home concessions it probably woouldn't bridge the higher price and crowd. We lose the 'everyone not named Palace shits themselves about playing at VP' element though.

They are shit at home and are about to face a side that has beaten them there the past two seasons and are arguably the most in form team in Europe. I’d be well fucked off to be in their shoes.
