I dipped into their main forum at half time to have a nose at what they were saying and was astonished by how much they hate Villa. They seem to have almost Blues’ level of hatred for us. Bizarre

Brighton fans' fury is about as scary as Tom Read Wilson threatening you in a pub.

I feel we haven't hit top gear yet but it's coming.

You should read  the POST match thread. They do hate us intensely.

They all seem to absolutely despise Unai Emery. From what I can gather, it's because he gets very animated on the touchline.

Of course, they all loved De Zerbi though. I guess all football fans are hypocrites, really, it comes with the territory.

But they're a particularly weird bunch of weirdos.

Funny enough their North Stand Chat Facebook page just popped up on my wall and most of them say it was no disgrace to lose to a class team like Villa. V refreshing.

I posted the same on the Emery thread. We're showing flashes of our best football now but haven't really put it all together as much as we can. Last night and Bournemouth we had about half an hour of looking untouchable and if we can get 45minutes-an hour of that a few times in the next moth or so I think we'll start being talked about s genuine title contenders.

It will all hinge on whether we can stay injury-free. And this being Villa, we all know the answer to that question.

Not including us (twice), Brighton are undefeated at home since January.

They must hate us.
Just had a look at a Brighton forum and they're quite complimentary about our fans and they really rate Rogers but other than that yes, they can't stand us lol

Someone earlier gave a 6 for Onana. He was solid first half, and in the second gave one of the all time midfield performances. The disrespect he gets is unbelievable. Genuinely one of the most exciting midfielders in the Premier League, only 24 or so.

On of the things this season, I have found refreshing is the number of times we have come from behind to win, it's 4 now in just over a third of season. In past seasons it's usually probably not that many in a full season.

I love it when other clubs fans hate us. Hoping that little Arsenal twat with the headphones is having a Sunderland style meltdown on Saturday.

You don't aspire to be everyone's second favourite team, like Newcastle are? Weird.
