They apparently booed Konsa forgetting straight back up after feigning injury. Not quite the.game I saw.
V v v good 2nd half. We are a better side than last season and Arsenal now is a free hit but they won't fancy coming to Villa Park.

It's not a free hit. We play the same amount of games vs everyone else and we're at home, where we very rarely lose. And we want to achieve something.

I hope the players don't see it as a free hit.

Proper gunfight-at-the-ok-corral game.

Chaotic performance on the surface, but we had much more in our locker.

Well done Ollie, mate. God that must have felt good.

Guessand actually deciding to play second half.

Bizot doing a Greek tragedy in reverse.

Such a shame Brentford couldn't muster an equaliser.

I thought Guessand did well in the second half. Instrumental in the winning goal.

Amazing win. Sometimes games just don’t go
your way and although we were poor at the start of the game everything just fell for them.

It’s just part of football that those games get away from you. Especially against a good and hard working team like Brighton away.

Incredible to drag that back. To do it while rehabilitating Ollie is perfect.

Other results going our way currently too! Dreamland!

I turned off at 0-2, saying to wifey “I’m not watching this fucking shit”. Lasted about a minute. I was as pissed off with the ref as I was with the Villa.

Turned off again at 4-3 and checked the result on BBC Sport. I just couldn’t take it any more.

What a fucking team.

No complaints from me about tonight.

We know what to expect from Unai and Villa's game plan.

Keep it quiet and tight in the first 45.
See what they're up to. Review and make changes at HT or from 55-60 mins on.

Run out winners.

3rd in the table having played 9 matches. (I'm not counting the first 5 - we didn't turn up).

This squad and especially this Manager needs a bloody trophy.
The man is a genius.

Just when you think the old Villa are back, the new Villa says "hold my pint this ain't over "

We are in a title race although will not be surprised if the likes of the Guardian only show the top 2 tomorrow

What a turnaround, hopefully this is the beginning of a Watkins scoring run.
