So pleased for Ollie! Hopefully he'll keep scoring now.

My Brighton 3 nephews won't be wishing me a Merry Christmas now, though!

Proper gunfight-at-the-ok-corral game.

Chaotic performance on the surface, but we had much more in our locker.

Well done Ollie, mate. God that must have felt good.

Guessand actually deciding to play second half.

Bizot doing a Greek tragedy in reverse.

Such a shame Brentford couldn't muster an equaliser.

V v v good 2nd half. We are a better side than last season and Arsenal now is a free hit but they won't fancy coming to Villa Park.

Mosquera went off injured tonight as well, Saliba's missed the last two and Gabriel is definitely out.

Not a bad time for Ollie to rediscover a bit of form.

Not an easy place to go to these days. Fantastic win, showed some great resilience. Up to 3rd. Really loving what Unai Emery is doing for Aston Villa.

Rice went off too, might be precautionary but had a calf issue.

I woke up at 5am to prepare for 5.30 kick off. Almost went back to bed 20 mins in….yes superb. Their 3rd was a bit of cockroach but great win.

Now getting ready to travel to The Gabba with a spring in my step

Root ton to complete your day (fingers crossed emoji).

Well that's me not being able to get to sleep anytime soon. What a win.

Over the moon for Ollie, hopefully he can back on track, he usually loves it against Arsenal doesn't he?
