Argument for - if poor refereeing decisions even themselves out over a season, all the dodgy calls we’ll get in our favour during the run-in should propel us to glory.

I agree. The H&V terms and conditions should be updated to instant ban, removal of thread, and social outcasting of anyone starting such threads until such a point that its mathematically certain that we have won said thing.

Injuries, yes, bad, lots of contributing reasons, but it doesn't mean it's not happening. Because it is.
