SJM.  Absolutely unplayable today.  At his best.  Martinez too.  Kamara was quality.  A few of them had stinkers (Buendia, Rogers, even YT was a bit off it).

Watkins again looked truly off the pace when he came on.  We need a new CF in January of we’re going to stay in the top 4.

Oh and, hahahahaha Wolves.  You played quite well in a very limited way and still didn’t win you absolute clowns.

Last season we were dropping points for these sort of matches. We found a way today.

Great win, great goal, world class save, McGinn brilliant, everything else pretty average to shit.

Let's cut straight to highlights from the Liverpool game and talk about them in the title race.

As somebody that lived in Wolverhampton for the best part of 40 years, I dont care how we win this one as long as we do.

It did nothing for my system after staying awake after the nightshift though.

Always a slog against them, but got it done.

The result was all important. But it was a poor performance, even taking into account the fact that Wolves defended deep and in numbers.

Martinez man of the match, for me (that’s a few in recent games, now).

Great strike from Bouba, but he was slightly under par today (again, not for the first time in recent games).

McGinn got us going, eventually.

Onana was strong when he came on, and Ollie’s energy was welcome.

Buendia was wasteful and did not keep the ball moving enough.

Felt sorry for Sancho, all of the decisions he made were the wrong ones, and in such a short space of time. It was embarrassingly bad.

Everyone else average.

Goal and save deserved to win the game. SJM was… super. Not much else to say.

The co-commentator mentioned a rift between Ollie and Emery. That’s the first I’ve heard? If anything I’d say Emery has kept him in the side longer than he’s needed too. He’s been way off form, but he generally plays him.

In hindsight, this was a game more suited to Ollie than Malen. They packed their own box and it was extremely tough messy derby.

I do think today reemphasised that Don, as good as he’s been, is not a lone striker in the Premier League.
