W0 D3 L13 is their current league run

We've lost 2 home league games in 20 months

We'll smash the granny out of them.

I don’t think it will be easy at all. They will set up so defensively they’ll let us have their kick off as well.

I thought Donnie/Ollie duet worked quite well against Burnley and if these donkeys are going to be no different so go with same?

The only worry is we have won 7 on trot at home and these sort of runs come to an end......

....after we play Wolves.

*More likely to come to an end against Arsenal.

Bad karma to look too far ahead, but am really looking forward to the Arsenal game. First we must bin the Dogs, however.

Speaking yesterday to a wolves ST holder, who’s going on Sunday. He said they’re the worst Premiership team he’s seen, have no players to keep an eye on and they’re usual crop of promising or entertaining Portuguese players have been replaced by poorly recruited inferior players. He reckoned 4-0 Villa.

Anyone thinking we might lose should have a look at our home form over the past two years.
q

Maybe not lose but a shit Sheff Utd messed-up our 15 game winning streak at VP and only an injury time flying Zaniolo header saved our blushes.

Plus, derbies are more of a leveller.

And a lot of our wins are unconvincing.

There, that should restore the balance. 1-1

We don’t often blow teams away, so I’m expecting this one to be a lot like the Leeds game. Wolves will likely have one of those days where they play out of their skin and look like prime Barcelona. We’ll need to stay focused, keep our heads, and stick to the game plan—don’t let the noise from Wolves throw us off.

Malen is a guaranteed starter, and I expect Ollie to be right there with him. The two of them complement each other really well. While Ollie’s goal-scoring form hasn’t been great, this partnership suits the team overall.

One thing I’d like to see from Ollie is more aggression. He could probably do with building up his upper body strength, especially when it comes to those one-on-one situations. When he’s up against a defender, I want to see him putting the defender on the floor, not the other way around.

I think so too. Press their defenders hard from the first whistle. Rogers on left and Tielemans in the middle. Likes of Buendia off the bench. Any kind of win will do.

I have missed 3 home games in over 40 years.

I am buggered if I have ANY recollection of Rob Edwards playing for us.
I’ve googled images of him, the Rover/MG kit was worn, but I still have no memory of him.

In reality this should be a easy win, but as we have seen on previous games against Wolverhampton and other derby games it never plays out that way,if we play the slow build up game I not holding out much hope, this is their cup final once again and that's not being disrespectful to them
