Happy to have missed their goal, app breakdown. Should have won by several but again the only times they got forward they caused problems. Not playing that well but still winning says a lot.

3-0 and its a very comfortable coast through to the end of the match. Being ultra critical, it should have been done and dusted at half time, without the need for the mild panic in the last few minutes.

They were so poor  like Go Ahead, we switched off any sort of intensity and pressure.

Bogarde was caught napping badly for their goal. Torres fortunate enough for the other one, was in no man's land really. This competition is only likely to liven up when it gets to the knock outs. Some minutes into the legs of fringe players and Malen getting the goals. I'm not sure what else you can take from these games,. Nowhere near the intensity of PL.

We’re not clinical enough in the box, we have a problem in scoring goals
not just the actual shooters ie Watkins and Malen but the creators are also just as wasteful with to many sloppy balls (ooh Matron) being played

It doesn't matter we won the game and was completely in control. Unai's perfect game is 0-0 and then we score in the 91st minute. We are never going to be a team that smashes Opposition teams all the time.

Of course it matters
We are 3rd because of goal difference
We missed out on champions league football because of goal difference
in the game last night we were wasteful in front of goal and squandered opportunities, I’m just saying we’ve got to be more clinical in forward areas

I know after a win if you say the slightest thing it’s jumped on as if you’ve turned up with a turd in a bun to a party but you have to learn from every game
I know Unai dissects every minute of the games to improve, it’s not being negative it’s pushing forward demanding to be better (as the great man himself would say)

We were too busty trying to get Malen his hat-trick or Ollie to score. It could have cost us. Unai will no doubt be pointing that out.

Well Torres was on the bench so could well be classed as no-mans land, not sure how he was supposed to stop the chance from there though.

Typical. Someone makes an innocent mistake and out come all the knockers.

He'll get plenty of chances to get more goals with all the December matches. Areola at West Ham looks very wobbly in particular.

Yea agree, the whole team looked desperate for Ollie to score. Sancho (who despite the fact I don’t think is that good played well I thought last night), had a really good opportunity to shoot, but tried to play Watkins in through the eye of a needle.
Anyway, strange k/o time, flat atmosphere apart from their idiots, felt like a training game. On to the dogheads.
