Tactically wrong so far. Way too passive. Like when we played Man U at the end of last season. We needed to get into them early, dominated possession and got shots in this lot would have struggled against us. We’ve let them set the tone. Second half we need to completely change the narrative.

We barely had time to do that, they scored early from a 50/50. Against Yanited, we just let them come at us all first-half and we dserved what we got.

That was a horrid half of football - stop start - poor ref and we were so far off it, it was unreal

I wouldn't call that football buddy. More like a Morgan Rogers losing possession 51 minute loop.

Feels like a typical Villa performance against a bottom 3 team made worse by the fact that we could go fourth if we win.

Yes the referee is a disgrace but we've allowed ourselves to be bullied by them and been dragged down to their level.

There were signs of improvement towards the end of the half and I think the second half will be better.

Watkins has been terrible, not the only one but he really needs to be taken off.

Guessand would give their defenders more physicality to worry about.  Put him in the middle instead of Watkins and go more direct.
Bloody hell. Thats an ‘out of the box’ suggestion.

Very poor first half from Villa, expect goals in the second against a Leeds side who are at best a mid-table Championship side, can't understand what we are messing about at, sort yourselves out Villa and Emi needs to man up, they are wining this on physicality alone so we need Barcley on and Guessand to deal with that, can't believe we are losing this,

Very poor so far. Watkins had a great effort, aside from that was abysmal. Martinez at fault for the goal. McGinn constantly fouled but Rob Jones waves play on. Kamara not in the game, thankfully Tielemans looking OK. Still a winnable game.

Leeds are already running out of puff. They're starting to miss the press.

It doesn't matter though because we can't string more than three passes together the second we go over the halfway line.

Leeds have only lost 1 of 5 home games this season.

Emery hasn't lost against a promoted side according to a stat that flashed up during the first half.

Rogers had given the ball away far less than others. The whole midfield behind him and Pau for example. Finished better but need that padding to be 100% better. Still nothing working for Ollie. Great effort to hough from him. Martinez just had to do better for the goal. Simply poor goal keeping.
