Most of their goals seem to come from headers. Feels like their promotion bounce has worn off, so hopefully we can get a win.

Imagine they'll come out all guns blazing in the opening 20 minutes though.

This will do. With Watkins for Malen because he needs it more

The sound of that Calum Chambers goal hitting the net lives absolutely rent free in my head. A glorious day. More of that please Villa.

Wasn't that night sealed in style by the Ghanaian Villans singing "Villa, high-a, high-a! Leeds, low-a, low-a!"

Edit: Actually, I think in dulcet tones they sang "Leeds are falling apart again"... or maybe that was another great bunch of lads somewhere else.

I shall be following this on my phone while travelling back from bloody London which sometimes makes it easier than actually watching the blasted game.

Our designs on CL hinge on games like these, we throw a crap performance in every now and again then look back on how if affected us during the season as a whole and this feels like one of them. But experience makes you stronger, Emery is as determined as ever and SJM has the type of personality that will rub off on all in a brilliant week for him.

1-3

A win has us at least 5th, perhaps 4th depending on the result in North London. Not bad considering the first 5 games.
