On the chance we get a win, resulting in winning 3 out of three against 50% of the scum sky 6...Will they be talking up our championship challenge to Arsenal?

I think we know the answer

I won't be talking up our title challenge never mind them. However, a win would put us in a great position for a top 4 push, given our pre-Xmas fixtures.

Slot on whether Villa's turnaround in fortunes this season shows how quickly things can change...

It's also a sign that it is better to do it the way they did it than the way we did it! If you don't win in the beginning, people are like, 'Maybe they don't have the same team as last season' or whatever and then they start to win and everything is very positive again. With us, I think it's exactly the opposite. We are both on the same points and apart from Arsenal, I think many teams are in and around the same points, so again it tells you how hard the Premier League is.

They've done very well in the last five, six, seven or eight games and that didn't come as a surprise because even in the games they lost before, you could already see the signs they are a very good team and their playing style is really good. Normally, normally, normally – although with us the run is already quite long – you don't every time lose a game of football when you create more chances than the other team. They decided not to make a habit out of that – and let's hope we decide not to make a habit out of having more chances than the opponent but not winning it.

So Spurs (A), Shity (H) and Thieving Scouse (A), I'd have taken 4 or 5 points, a draw gives us 7 from, probably, the toughest section of our fixture list this season.  Oh, please win.

I'm going to be watching this on my phone at a Nu Metal night in an awful Irish bar whilst dressed as Danhausen the wrestling vampire. I'm a 35 year old man.

Also, we are very obviously losing thanks to a very dubious 97th minute goal.

If we then win even more points so we're realistically a threat to Arsenal, yes, they will.

Both our games against Arsenal are in December.

Just let rip, have a go, most teams expect to lose at Anfield, no shame, Liverpool will come good at some point, we may as  well get out their, let the lads have some fun, express themselves, go for it.

4-1 Villa...

Think we have away games against Palace and Newcastle in the same month and fixtures around Christmas look horrible.

But obviously this run on paper looked horrible too.

Rogers to continue improving his form, I fancy him to bag one. But we’ll need one from Ollie too to win it. 2-1 to us.

We play Arsenal twice in December and squeeze in Chelsea and Manu in between.

Noticed that. Also, we play the return match before we’ll have played the first fixture of the year against Forest.

Isn’t that a bit unusual?

2-7

A decent come back after being 2-0 down after 10 mins.

SUE also becomes the first manager to do a double sub the sub, whilst also starting the next great debate….. who should be our starting striker, Mings or Pau? As set pieces go to the next level.

I suspect we’ll get comfortably beaten, as it tends to happen there. But the last two results in the league have really shown we can be in the mix, so to an extent this is a bit of a free hit. I won’t feel like that when the game comes around, but it’s probably the reality.
