A draw (1-1), which would be fine. Hopefully, they beat Palace tonight.
I was hoping they would as well but by losing they are on a run that can not continue  just based on odds. So I am not hopeful for anything on Saturday.

By doing what they did last night, they are treating us with a lot of respect. We didn't prepare for Go Ahead properly as we were focusing on ManCity, I suspect similar of Liverpool preparing for us. Should be a good, tight game.

Even more than usual, I will love it if we beat them, love it!

We prepared for Go Ahead fine. We just kept missing sitters.

Just go there and have a go, much like the 92–93 season. If we sit back, it will not end up well. Go and be positive!

Yeah, but they were shit then....

Oh yeah....they still are!

The point being - don't be passive.  I feel like Emery is too cautious in some of these big away games - go and play like we can at home.

Realistically this is where we lose.

We've had a good run and are due a loss.

A win here would be magnificent but themosinf five in a row would be extremely unlikely.

Maybe a draw at best.

I like how Emery plays away against the better sides in the league. We definitely pick up more points than most. Does seem to work better in London than in the North West though.

It's not a case of being passive or not having a go. Have faith in our much improved defence (and the protection provided in front of them) to deal with Liverpool coming forward. We can get in round the back of them (Cash, Guessand maybe later,) we can get in through the middle of them (Rogers, Watkins), and will inevitably create chances. We will only need to take one or two to win this.
Unai has his plan ready to execute, Slot has a lot to contend with and worry about.

Could be a season defining game for us. We often mess these up… but, but…. if we win though,  you could argue we are well and truly in the mix for the top 3/4.

We really need to do what we did to City with a slight variation.

Liverpool create bucketloads of chances even with the bad run of results.

That said Allison (if he plays) Konate, VVD and Robertson aren't the players they once were. Like a collective step down so we need to make the most of our chances.

2.2 is my punt.

Yep, he's a massive weak link. I look forward to the debates on Ollie's chances because I fancy one or two one-on-ones with the keeper.
