Miss so many chances and you’re always likely to end up like this.  But that free kick was a  straight lob.  No way we should be conceding from that.

We don’t have a clinical finisher.  Guessand… hmm.

I know he scored but Guessand is nowhere near good enough at the moment.

He’s more involved but not showing any real quality.

His movement off the ball leaves a lot to be desired.  His crossing has been terrible,

That cross has to be the poorest I can remember for a long time considering the promising position he was in.

That was too easy & we were wasteful. We should have been out of sight. One of the poorest sides I've seen in a long time.

They'll come out in the second half & think they can win it.

Well we have the same VAR as been refereeing when our offside people have blocked players and we don't concede. Any other connection and we don't concede. Two CB were in front of him when he scored and the one place it went to be goal is the one it happened to be with a wicked deflection of Pau's rear foot.

Is that another conceded from the oppositions first shot?

We inevitably pay the price for the missed chances. Scabby goal. Looked offside to me.

Onana soft as shite for me. Defenders getting blocked in the defensive line is becoming more regular at set piece time but Onana took the easy way out.

Wasn't just Onana, Bogarde was also blocked off. It might be regular at set pieces, but it is still offside if the blocking player is offside, as we know ourselves in at least two cases.

Onana is a far bigger specimen than Bogarde. No way should any player be blocking him off.

Watching their goal back I don't think whoever is on VAR understands the offside law.

Should never have been a free kick in the first place

No, they had a few shots before that.

The ref has given 2 or 3 really soft freekicks to GAE - and they've scored from one: it's almost like he was feeling sorry for the home side. Terrible reffing.
That aside, we should have been home and hosed before that.
