How did Onana go today? Didn't see game

Okay first, better second half, tired towards the end, from what I could glean on the match threads.

Another (pitchside) angle for Emi's goal. https://x.com/AVFCOfficial/status/1980016101602755002

Seeing the goal, it is so funny Vicario trying to claim for Rogers being offside when he didn't even see him until he had watched the ball bounce into the corner, then trying to make out Rogers was in his way.

The perfect opponent for Unai: good enough to make him get his thinking cap on, nowhere near good enough to out-think him.

Yeah but would probably school him at having sex on ski slopes.

Another (pitchside) angle for Emi's goal. https://x.com/AVFCOfficial/status/1980016101602755002

Struggling to sort the gold, silver and bronze rankings for:

A) Matty Cash's 70 yard drilled half volley pass

B).Lucas Digne plucking the ball out of the air at almost head height and then flicking it back almost in one movement

C) Emi Buendia cutting inside and tucking one away in the far corner from outside the area with his weaker foot

BAC for me. I'm adding that goal to the wank bank.

We are slowly gaining momentum, the bench played its part today and good to see players coming back. My only concern is without Mings we seem vulnerable from corners or any high ball into the box. The new players didn't get minutes, looking forward to see how Emery handles Sancho, if he can get this lads head in the right place we might have a good player.

For me it’s the 2nd Digne touch - less eye catching but the awareness to pop it directly back into Buendia’s path. 👨‍🍳😘

Anyway watched the game on a phone, whilst standing in the pissing rain watching my lads team. They won a scrappy affair 3-2, with the final whistle going on both games at the same time. Home to dry off, a lovely lasagne and hot cup of tea..a good Sunday to be alive!!

Haha, me too! My boy’s team won 4-1 in a 2.30 kick off. I was watching on my phone but I felt a bit neglectful so switched to listening on 5Live instead. In the time it took to go from watching to listening, Buendia got our winner.

Lamb kebab, rice and peppers for dinner, and a hot cup of tea. Lovely!

McGinn, Cash prepared to send a 70 yard pass down the right. There's good control in from Lucas Digne. Oh, it must be and it is! It's Emiliano Buendia.
