to be fair we should be going to spurs and beating them its only the old inferiority complex that thinks a point at the lane would be good. They have been shit for seasons. no madders, romero pulled out during the warm up and their new manager bounce is now on the wane. Still enjoyed the game and was delighted with the goals and the 3 points.

There’s nothing quite like stuffing it up Spurs when all the pre game talk is about them going 2nd with the win they were clearly going to get. Fuck you and your bias.

The goal we conceded was very avoidable if we showed a bit more positivity going forward with the ball. I get it’s part of our game plan early on to keep possession as much as possible but it invites pressure when we screw up as proved. Good games for everyone with Digne being my MOM for the pull down for Emi’s goal and his general game against their best player. He was also a soldier for the way he responded to some very heavy tackles. Rogers’s best game for us this season so far.

Agree with all that, apart from this - only because Cash's improvement seems to correlate with Guessand playing. He does a ton more defensive work and means Cash doens't have to cover as much ground.

Lovely win. It reminded me a bit of the 2-0 on new years day in Unais first season. Soak up the pressure for first 50 odd minutes, then pick them apart.

Anyway watched the game on a phone, whilst standing in the pissing rain watching my lads team. They won a scrappy affair 3-2, with the final whistle going on both games at the same time. Home to dry off, a lovely lasagne and hot cup of tea..a good Sunday to be alive!!
