Very disappointed with Malen and Guessand. Very little involvement from both of them

I think Evann has been alright .   Hassled them a bit , was in the build up of our goal, great tackle near the end  . Malen hes not a striker , so put it down to that , play him where he was against Burnley. Onana needs to do more .  Still think we can win this.

And we need someone good on the ball , get Elliot on.

Malen cannot play centrally on his own. He just isn’t good at occupying defenders or holding the ball up.

Been OK.  Conceded a really poor early goal and have given possession away far too easily, far too often, but have pressed them well.

They don't look full of ideas though and I think we can win this if we step it up a bit in the second half.

I'd replace Digne with Maatsen, otherwise we're doing ok. Sadly, Spurs are there for the taking if we can find another gear, but we are not showing enough.

The ref is absolutely useless.

We can win this, we have the midfield for sure, just need to use it, very good goal from Rogers, Guessand playing well, you just know he's going to convert before long, Onana worrying, have to say it this game scream Sancho to come on and win it, he's got it in him to score, somewhere and he needs to earn his corn, Maatsen on, all in all going well for Villa and we can win this.

Think he’ll bring on Watkins at some point
Hopefully he’s got his gander up and scores a goal

onana cant even pass  ffs

He's been handy without the ball, but decidedly iffy with it.

so want him to go up that level especially at 50 mill  but the injuries dont help.   Its those simple passes he overhits or underhits pre spurzz goal.

This ref is letting their number 7 and Palinha foul with impunity.  They tried to rough us up the last time we played them too.  They’re not a great side I don’t think, and this is winnable.

Yes I’m really surprised with Spurs, I though they’d have a go at us bu they are giving us respect which we need to take advantage of

Superb goal from Morgan, but this is a very poor Spurs team defensively and we have only put one decent ball into the box, also Malen has not had a decent ball fed to him yet.

Emery needs to tell them to show two things - enthusiasm and energy.  With a bit more of each of them we can win this.

Spurs look as disjointed as us. Either team can win this, I was expecting more from them.

The bit that concerns me - and I think part of it is Don as the lone player up top - is we struggle to produce good chances. We play ok and then it falls apart in the final third. It takes a wonder strike for us to score, we need to produce a higher volume of chances.

Spurs are a poor outfit, strange selection from Emery, Onana has to be replaced  same with Malen.

I would take Guessand off before Malen.

What a twat of a referee as well.
