What I was wondering about Burnley fan was, if they think the Premier League is 'corrupt as fuck' (which apparently many of our fans also believe it is), why are they so desperate to get back into every other season?

With that back four less Mings we are very weak in the air so we need our keeper to be a lot sharper off his line. Like Bizot was for the first set piece last Thursday. Think Kamara got blocked off but Konsa has to spot the unmarked guy right in front of him too. Watkins usually defends the front post well but he was off by then.

Kamara was marking no one so was blocked by no one.

Konsa is aware of the guy behind him and also the guy next to him, he should have been shouting for someone (Rogers? Pau? Kamara?) to come and stand next to him.

Pau and Rogers did keep on looking at where the far post runners were so might have been placed there to stop those, but we ultimately marked near post with three players and far post with 4 and left one player in the middle.

It's an interesting one, as I presume looking at those stills, that Kamara, Konsa and Torres (and possibly even Bogarde) are in a zonal set up across our six yard box.  That means they don't really mark anyone, unless they are in their zone.  The first still shows them quite tight together with very little space between them.

You can see in that second still though, that by the time the ball has come in, Konsa has been blocked out of the way and there is a biggish gap between him and Kamara.  The Burnley player attacks that space and scores.

Might be something Burnley worked on, or might have just been a coincidence.  One for Austin Mc to pick the bones out of.

My instinct is it was planned. I also think he brought on Onana, Lindelof and Barkley to beef us up

Could anyone understand a single word the Burnley fans were chanting in the couple of times they woke up? Particularly when Emi was down there was lots of grunting coming from them but it was just noises :-

They have one chant in particular that they repeat over and over.  They've had it for years, but I've never been able to make out a word of it.

Particularly enjoyed Maatsen coming on getting a free kick tussling with Walker

Speaking of whom, it's crazy how era-spanning Kyle Walker's career has been. He played in the same team for us as Robert Pires.

Harvey Elliott was 7 when Walker played for us.

I love this kind of trivia - didn't Keith Curle play in competitive teams with Alan Ball and Phil Jagielka at either end of his career?

Surprised at how few Burnley brought, they can only have played a few away games so surprising they've got bored so soon. I've always been torn on Burnley, on one hand they get great crowds compared to the size of their town, a friend supports them, Alistair Campbell, who I find fascinating, supports them and they play in Claret & Blue. On the other hand they are the kind of Ecky Thump, backward Northern cloggers that every fair minded sort should be looking down their nose at. Its a bind.

It's a shame Turf Moor's not a more pleasant place to visit but I would much rather Burnley in the Prem than Bournemouth, for example. Having said which, this yo-yo version are tedious and Scott Parker is a stultifyingly dull manager

Bournemouth being in the top flight, and more than holding their own, is great.

Turf Moor is the worst away ground I've been to.

There shouldn't really be any Southern teams in the top division. Moseley don't go round getting promoted to the top flight in rugby. Not because they're not good enough, you'd be crazy to jump to that conclusion. It’s because they recognise that rugby is a game for posh Southern ponces and don't want to spoil their fun. Likewise, football is for the North, the Midlands and Scotland. Kick the Southern teams out, as William McGregor intended.

I'd draw the line directly to the South of Villa Park
