This could be the result that gets our season motoring.

Easy-peasy, can't believe you can still get us at 9/2 to win it. Money in the bank.

Quote
Van Persie: Ref apologised to me for disallowed goal
Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie:

"That was a clear goal for us. The ref said sorry to me during half-time.

"I asked him, 'can you explain what just happened because nothing happened'. Then he said sorry. He thought someone was blocked but he said sorry a couple of times. That's a shame - it had a big influence on the game."

So did your player not being sent off. Swings and roundabouts.

The Ref probably said sorry because it was ruled out. RVP is just sulking and has exaggerated it.

Feyenoord didn't play badly at all. Right back definitely a player. But thought their centre backs were horribly naive at times, like the red that wasn't and getting turned so easily by Malen for our second. Second half our midfield two imposed themselves physically with ease. The conditioning levels between the PL and Dutch league are huge, same v Ajax last season.

Great performance by us as a team. Thought Maatsen was excellent and MOM overall. Rogers was much improved, played very well in parts but gives possession away inexplicably too often, if it’s possible to stop him doing that he’d make the grade. Maybe it’s just what Rogers is, a maverick, exciting individual, or, a liability. We’ve had both but more of the latter so far this seasy.

That was fun. There were glimmers it was going to click in the first half but admittedly we needed Bizot to bail us out. Second half we were the better side and exerted control. Nice goals, lots of decent performances and three wins on the bounce. Onwards.

Job done

Rogers and Guessand a waste of time.

Buendia quality. Bogarde looking better each game.

Win on Sunday and it’s 4 in a row. That’s the doom mongers silenced for now.

Ridiculous post.

Can we play all of our European games on 2nd October,? A year to the day when we beat Bayern also with a clean sheet.

Excellent nights work, especially with six out injured/ unavailable.

Onwards and upwards!
