It seems only right that we score at that end of the pitch!

Rogers improved through the game, albeit starting from a very low bar. Quite a few players with good games, I'd give Bizot motm.

Brilliant win. Can we play all our away games at our lucky stadium?

Small Heath are knocking it down. ☹️

Some very good performances in that game. Torres man of the match, Bizot commanding, Konsa excellent, Maatsen very good. Ollie played very well first half. Buendia another who really stood out. SJM and Kamara doing what SJM and Kamara do.

I thought Guessand was very decent second half after his very quiet first half.

Great run by Malen for the second.

I am so, so chuffed with that! We did get away with it at times in the first half but the way we owned the second half was brilliant to see. Showed some class tonight. Not an easy place to go to and win. We haven't even fully hit our stride yet. Here's to you, Unai Emery.

Feyenoord have some really talented players there. You can see why they’re hard to beat at home.

That's more like it.

Before we even went 1-0 up - and even if we had actually lost the game when it was in the balance - I thought Konsa and Pau were so much better than recently. Prob Pau's best game for about two years.

Bizot -Still channelling that massive Schmeichel star jump energy.

Buendia - Wizard

SJM - Standard.

Rogers - Work in progress.

Guessand - Hmm.

Biggest take home:

Unless there's a genuine clash of colours, play the in the actual Villa kit as much as possible.

It seems only right that we score at that end of the pitch!

And I believe McGinn now matched Withe's Euro goal total.

Agreed about Rogers. He showed glimpses of his best self in the first half then promptly gave the ball away. Much much better in the second half. The fact that they had a player who's sole intention seemed to be to push pull and generally niggle him or foul him for the whole game says a lot.

Very good performance, our best of the season.
Bizot was superb. Konsa and Torres were excellent, as were Kamara and Ginny.

Guessand was awful. Truly awful. Let’s hope he is a very, very slow starter and not a dud.

Great result, Bizot, Konsa, Torres, Kamara,SJM all excellent. Looking like our old selves at last. Need to sort Rogers and Guessand out, they are hindering us offensively. Not sure why Elliot is not getting more game time. Buendia has really taken his opportunity to impress the gaffa.

First half not brilliant, second half improved. Pleased for wee Emi, he's doing well at the mo. Rogers' turns were sensational, his passing not so good.

I would have Bizot as MotM , with Konsa a close second.
