Rogers is a confidence issue. I don't think it's an attitude thing. He's trying, but delaying and missing simple things. Only a kid. Get a goal and it'll come.

If there is a rating given out for carelessness right now Emi is getting a solid 9.

He's one of those that just plays the game at 100mph in his head. Weimann was exactly the same.

I like Emi. But he’s very frustrating. Not a bad comparison. He tries to play beyond his ability. His head thinks yes, his body doesn’t get the message.

Totally.  A goal will transform his game

I feel that a professional commentator should give enough of a toss to Google how the -schi in Bernadeschi is pronounced.

Rogers has been poor again

No he hasn’t. He’s had a couple of poor moments, but he’s done some really good stuff - like just then.

Its chances like the one Rogers had that has contributed to our horrific start to the season. Not just that we didn’t even get a shot out of it, we didn’t even get to take the shot from a good position. It’s like our forward players have forgotten what to do as they enter the final third. It was so natural for most of the second half of last season. Goals came easy. Now chances are there but we just look lost in knowing what to do with them. And when we can’t score a nil becomes harder to defend.

It's been a pretty mediocre game so far. Both sides lack a cutting edge: Kamara has been player of the first half.
Malen and Guessand - hmmm, the jury is out on both - have shown energy and enthusiasm.
