It boils my piss frankly that we realistically had 3 chances to win a trophy this season, and with a whimper that is already down to 2.

I ought to know better by now, and not get annoyed by us lessening the likelihood of us seeing an Aston Villa captain lift a pot of tin above their head, it's what many of us (foolishly) live for, shame the manager and players aren't so bothered.

I guess those of us lucky enough to have seen us win the lot can "shrug the shoulders" but there is a generation of fans now who have never seen us win a thing and will resent yet another opportunity being dismissed with apparent ease.
