Seeing the goal again, Elliot hitting it early was just the right timing as he caught the keeper as he was trying to set himself.

Guessand needs time to acclimatise. He looks like a ball of energy if nothing else.

I’d like to see Ollie get 30 mins and do what he does best. Score against Brentford.

I've liked our shape out of possession. Maatsen adding more legs on left. Midfield two have been solid, centre backs ok too. Our attacking play, clueless really. Might be worth swapping Guessand & Malen and reminding them they can't get any worse. Other two have shown the occasional nice touch and movement.

I would say out of the front 4 - I think Sancho looks the best so far.  All have looked like they need games - but just his positioning adds something we havent had so far this season.

I'd forgotten there's no VAR.

Who knew that not waiting months to start a new signing could be a good thing.

Dear god we agree completely! There's no confidence about our movement up front but the setup looks solid and Maatsen is offering a lot of much-needed burst. Pleasing to see Bogarde and Pau looking decent after recent issues.

Let's see how we are defending a lead. First chance this season.

Not sure how we didn’t get at least one pen

No VAR and refs are conditioned not to give them now because of VAR.
