Agreed, but there is the outline of a way forward here with some of these players. There is more pace in this team than the plodding lineup on Saturday.

I seem to remember Paul Lambert definitely went over 9 hours but it’s somewhat surprising to find Emery running him so close.

Early 1991 I recall the desperation of Martin Carruthers ballooning a sitter over the bar from 4 yards... home to Oldham i think. 
Seems weve moved on from that but we finished 7th that year!
