200k a week on a free would be around what we'd pay in fee and wages on Guessand for 4 years as an example. He's not going to signing for 100k a week for anyone.

Tielemans and Kamara were supposedly £150,000 per week, and if Sancho signs I expect he'd be getting somewhere around the same level as them when they came in without a transfer fee.

He'd probably get similar at Dortmund or a big Italian club. He'd be better off financially in Turkey.

So it just depends where he wants to draw the line between cash and sporting merit.

He'd be a joining a CL side in 2026. Throw in his signing on fee and he'll be closer to the equivalent of 200K a week than say 125k. My point is that as it stands he's not going to be dropping massively in wages like some think he will.

I wouldn't touch him. He just doesn't contribute enought.

Although he has been better recently i agree with the 100%

Another financial millstone around our necks if we sign him full time

Or sign on a free and sell in 12 months for a tidy profit.

If he keeps improving and he’ll accept a wage that we can comfortably meet, I’ve got no issues with it whatsoever. He seems to be looking more comfortable in the team, playing with a smile and finally contributing.

It's hard to sell players who are on £150k+ a week unless they're actually good. There's a select few clubs who can afford that.

There are various rumours about his wages, but recently saw one that suggested he'd be about half what he currently if he took a new deal with Dortmund. £100k whilst a huge amount of money is reasonable for his experience and ability in the Premier League. He's enjoying his football, and appears popular with teammates and most importantly the manager.

I think we should seriously consider signing him.

He is nowhere near consistently good enough to be the type of player we need at our level.
Plus he is expensive.
So no way should we be signing him.

Appears he has broken or severely strained his shoulder in the Elche Ouuchie friendly.

If broken would have been properly strapped up not just held up with his shirt. If dislocated would have been popped back in there and then. Didn't look in a great deal of distress walking off

If we lose him after a friendly now he's finally starting to come good, I will start to think we are fucking cursed.

Not sure what properly strapped up means with a broken collar bone. When I broke mine I was given a basic fabric sling which wasn't too disimlar to what they did with his shirt, which I assume was temporary until they could get back to the changing room.

Yep, correct, there's no strapping involved with a broken collarbone a it creates more problems than it would solve.
