Shit out of a challenge in first minute, I'd have subbed him there and then, unacceptable.

No way I'd offer him anything other than the door in June. He's better than Bailey but that's like saying a catshit sandwich is better than catshit on toast.
I noted that ‘challenge’. Shocking
He was doing it regularly earlier in the season when he came on as sub. Hate cowardly play, just put a foot in. That said I thought overall he did ok and should have stayed on
Possibly knowing he's gone at the end of the season and won't risk getting injured

The he wasn’t our worst player last night but he does continually fail to impress. Consistently inconsistent. I’m pleased he’s not a permanent signing. Saying that, Chelsea next, he has a point to prove.

He’s such a bloody frustrating player and a coward. Yes, he’s improved lately, but he’s been terrible in relation to his value. If he cost similar to Guessand in wages etc, fair enough. At least Guessand worked his socks off and gave balance to the right side.

I watched him closely last night and I think it was Drummond who nailed it by saying he’s a link player. He’s technically extremely proficient, keeps the ball well, has a nice range of passing, disciplined in the structure, always looking for support and 1-2’s BUT he does nothing else. Does he beat a man, play a killer pass, shoot? No. I couldn’t give a shit about putting his foot in etc it’s irrelevant in what he’s there to do. If he added the killer passes, shooting and beating a man he’d be world class but it just doesn’t seem to be there and he’s just Mr Nice. However subbing him for Bailey was just asking for trouble. It also meant their left back who was pinned back by Sancho started having an influence on the game .

I don’t think anyone expects him to go into crunching tackles, that isn’t his job.
But we he consistently fails to go for 50/50’s or even when the ball is in his favour, it is right to question his commitment to the cause.

The wimp out after 3 minutes yesterday was cowardly.

technical and a clever player - he lacks two things that will see him kick on. Confidence and the right role in the team. Which, is more central, he's not going to get that role this season here.
