I,don’t know what his wage demands are but my suspicion is that it is well above his market value. That’s his problem.

I very much doubt he will be 'demanding' anything like his current contract dictates. Not that I want us to sign him unless he does something good.

That's why his move to Chelsea fell through in the summer. Had a chance to go to Roma too before Bailey went there but swerved it likely for the same reason. Getting his career back on track is a long way down his list of priorities. Hangs on with us to the summer and he's an attractive PSR buy on a free. Knock another 2 or 3 year contract out of it elsewhere and a juicy signing fee. Great work if you can get it.

He contributes fuck all.

Not sure that’s true. Taking personal opinion out of it, Unai keeps giving him minutes. He’s not tearing it up, clearly, but he’s obviously at least delivering to instruction.

He gave us width and balance today when he came in which we badly lacked first half. The obvious route to beating a team with ten behind the ball is to take it wide behind them where the space is.

He has 0 goals, 0 assists, rarely looks like getting either and rarely gets stuck in. It's not like we're judging him in Sept, we're halfway through. He's just meh at everything. Guessand has at least scored and does the defensive side pretty well.

Next season another set of fans will be saying the same as us unless he's gone to Germany again.

I certainly  don't  want us signing him on a permanent  contract. Even with crippling injuries - he cant consistently  start games. Then there is the fact of

0 goals
0 assists

Yeah ill pass on the wages he will want even on a free.  Be a expensive mistake

Can't understand what's in his head.

His career at Old Trafford looks to be over, so he's got this season to show other clubs what he can do and generate interest so that he's got options in the summer.

I  know we all believe that Emery is some kind of coaching alchemist capable of turning base metal to gold, but I'm struggling to think of a game where Sancho’s shown anything. His performances at best have been 5 out of ten, he just runs about, doesn't tackle, doesn't produce assists, doesn't score.

He's been a complete waste of money and week by week his value is diminishing, as is his chance of getting a contract elsewhere at even half of the £200k pw (£10.4m pa) he's said to be earning at the moment.

If we can send him back, I definitely would.

That's a very harsh assessment, in my view.

For me, he's been broadly on an upward trajectory over the past few months.

Sure, he was poor versus Arsenal second half, but then who wasn't?

The thing that gets people raging with Sancho, I find (and I include myself, to a degree) is the pussyfooted tackling. He could definitely do better there. That and a goal/assist would be good.

Is he worth €200k a week? Probably not.

Has he made a positive contribution to our performances? Broadly yes.

I’m happy to bring him on if we have a 2 goal lead because he keeps the opposition on the back foot.

If what we've seen so far from him is effort to impress to earn a contract here or with someone else, I shudder to think what he'd be like once he's actually on a new 4 or 5 year deal.

Any player that shits himself at the mere thought of a tackle can do one, regardless of what we're paying per week.

Sancho looks like a playground player who runs with the ball for the personal joy of beating a player or two but with no real thought of and end product.

He will do the square root of f*** all for us and will be moved on at the end of the season. We will wonder why we bothered. A Leopard doesn’t change its spots. A gifted footballer he may be but his attitude towards the game will soon surface.
I said this way back in September. Nothing has changed my mind and nothing has surprised me about him, apart from him being as cowardly as he is ineffective.
Get rid at the earliest opportunity.

I think some of this is really harsh, he's not done enough for us yet and I doubt we'll have any interest in offering him a long term deal but his record in Germany is excellent and he isn't the first player who has struggled with the step up from that level to the intensity of the premier league.
