I'll drive him back up to Manchester if he needs a lift. Waste of a shirt and wages

A waste of resources. Him and Elliot are the poster boys of Monchi's summer fuck up. Lots of money on wages on deadline day for minimal impact.

If. he was a youth player coming through you would think he has done ok .  But for £ he is on and would cost i would underwhelmed if we kept him on

Yeah he’s had a lot of potential for about 9 years and delivered for Dortmund and not ManU Chelsea England or Villa

Who would've though Lindelof would look to be our best summer signing.

Yep, fucking awful summer transfer window. We'd be out of sight at the top if Monchi hadn't fucked it all up.

He didn’t. All signings go through Emery. And to be honest about it, our summer window given our very well documented PSR/SCR issues was fucked up the minute the FT whistle went at Old Trafford.

And given those constraints, we needed to be shrewd in what we did. Over-paying for Guessand and over-paying/under-playing Elliott and Sancho in wages can only be deemed as poor outcomes. Lindelof being the star signing was not something any of us envisaged.

I thought Sancho was tidy again today and all three signings have made enough contributions towards us being second in the league. I’d say our biggest failure in the transfer market is not having someone who could step in for Ollie.

That’s all he is though: tidy.  He’s on wages that require end product.  He never beats his man, hasn’t scored and doesn’t ever look like doing so.  I don’t think he’s shit.  He just isn’t very good either.

You've nailed it ...
... If we could get rid, do it. Unlikely, unfortunately.

He’s here for the season though? So we might as well integrate him int the system and get as much out of him when required.

So far so good, no one has let us down yet? We’re second, we look strong, we’ve had a few injuries and coped ok. They have all played a part so far.

Guessand, Sancho and Harvey's total contributions could likely have been improved by sticking Jimoh and Hemmings in for the equivalent number of minutes for a fraction of the cost.

The fact that Emery is achieving these results effectively with last season's squad less Rashford, Asensio, Ramsey and Bailey and no real input from the replacements is pretty incredible tbh.

I think Sancho has done ok, not spectacular clearly, but he contributes when on the pitch.
