If he's playing for a contract whether it be here or elsewhere, that can only be good for us.

Does Saka play mostly on the right these days, or is he still left-sided? I think starting him, over on the right, in front of a replacement right-back, would be a pretty big gamble if that's Saka's side?

Saka played on right against us anyway and Maatsen handled him well. Trossard probably on other side tonight and always causes us problems. I'd prefer McGinn on the right to help out Bogarde. Can't trust Sancho out of possession yet. Emery might think pushing McGinn and Tielemans into the middle is the way to go and if so Sancho will start on one of the wings over Buendia.

Yes Saka plays on the right our left.
Sancho played on the right in Germany and had his best minutes there against Chelsea.
I am not saying he will start but will definitely play tonight.

Saka plays mostly on the floor, diving every chance he gets.

Not a chance i'd sign him, you'll get tonight far more than you'll get a good game.

I thought he was decent in the first half. The game plan seemed to be helping Bogarde and he did it well and got forward.

Fleeting involvement in the game.
Weak as piss when it comes to helping out the defence, or battling for a 50/50.
Half asleep for the one decent opportunity that fell his way in the first half.

When you are battling it out at the upper reaches of the league, when it’s all hands to the pump, when you need to fight and battle for every ball, Jadon Sancho is not your man.

Decent in patches but not influential enough over 90 mins.

Steer clear.

Did ok in first half to be fair. But once the tide turns you don't want Sancho on your team. Huge call to start him tonight ahead of McGinn and it backfired. Not sure how many more chances Emery will give him.

Only place he can go that will give him the big wages is the Middle East
CAnt see anyone in Europe forking out more than 100k a week

don’t know what Dortmund pay maybe an option but he’s led charmed life to have amassed a fortune on a distinctly average career

Did alright first half I thought and offered protection to Bogarde. Faded in the second half but first PL start in six months or more will do that to you.

No way I’d sign him permanently - and don’t think for a minute we will - but perhaps Emery can get a tune out of him to offer something in the second half of the season.
