I actually like "Misery".

Some of the players look like they've been "hobbled" by Annie Wilkes.

Whether you want to believe it is up to you.  But what I heard and from a very reliable source is that Ramsey was adamant he did not want to leave.  Monchi and to a lesser extent Damian said he needed to for money. Next day he was having a medical up north.

The mood was set before the game when news of Emis departure to Man Ure spread round the pubs and the ground prior to kick off. Whoever was responsible for leaking the news deserves a good slap. Considering the opposition and the hold they have over us it was the last thing we needed.

I believe it about Ramsey. And part of me thinks if that was the only medicine, we could take it. But it isn't. One thing that I can't get my head around: if he didn't want to go, and the players were unhappy that he did, who were they okay with leaving?

People keep saying Emi should have gone at the start of the window - but where? All we got was a derisory loan offer from ManUre.

Well quite, so I think it’s more to his “team” you either go now (June/July) or you are not going. We cannot be selling/considering selling our main keeper on the last day of the window.

What sort of offer do we think we'll be getting tomorrow, in these circumstances, then?

I reckon around 40.

That was the guess at the end of last season, which I personally felt was insulting for a two time Yashin winner, but if we'd have taken it then we could have avoided a whole bunch of trouble.

Struggling to think of a worse start to a season both on and off the pitch. And I go back to the Saunders era.

I'd take 40 + Mainoo on a season loan.

Yep. Keepers of his age don't tend to go for a massive amount so it was always roughly what I was expecting.

The year we signed Collymore - I knew that he was the wrong signing especially for that system. We bet the house on him and were in a relegation battle until the middle of March and then won 7/8 to get into Europe.

Maybe a 14th place and Europa League as per Spuds is our bet this season

I am prepared to concede the title at this stage. Sorry for this infantile negativity but that's how it is.

We were still in it up until their belter of a second goal but in truth, we didn't look like scoring again which is a worry.
