Drove past a Palace Road on the way here, then saw a discarded cuddly lion toy which looked like it had been run over several times in the car park. Not great omens. Hopefully the rainbow was lucky.

I saw a rainbow on my walk to the station as well. I'm hoping that will be lucky too!   ;)

Hopefully not a sign that Bizot will bungle an easy save.

The bench shows how short we are. It’s alarming how light it is.

For all we talk about the financial constraits, after 6 transfer windows (well a couple of days left) and 400m spent on signings to have that as a bench in the PL is pretty poor.

Kamara, Onana and Barkley are injured.. and we sold two injury prone players in JJ and Leon, who consequently are already injured.

Barkley, Onana, Kamara to come back.  Anyone else, other than another central midfielder, George Hemmings?

I like the starting 11, lots of pace and width but this is very much a plan A thing because, with this bench, there cannot be a plan B.

And, even with those 3 fit we'd still be sticking kids on the bench. There's 5, plus Bogarde who's hardly a senior player.

Although aren't we £10mil positive over those 6 windows? We have so many people injured or out on loan at the moment doesn't help when either.

We still spent 400m on players. It's like we've only sold players.
