Absolutely love this guy. Hope he plays Sunday.
Yes, agreed. He's been entirely dependable. I would have been happy for him to play a few more games if anything.

He's played 6 full 90 minutes in the EL and we've won them all. He's played 6 full 90 minutes in the PL and we've won 4 (including against Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea), drawn 1 and lost 1. Otherwise he's generally been brought on for less than 10 minutes to see games out.

He's not let us down since he arrived. Been an excellent signing and a true professional in every sense.

I'm with you. He never lets us down. A good signing. Wish he played a bit more.

He looks our best centre half to me on form.

Can't praise this bloke enough. Has been brilliant for us.

The best center half we have at seeing a gap and bringing the ball forward. Our midfielders draw the opposition sideways and Lindelof attacks the gap. Another way of breaking the lines and he is very comfortable on the ball.

Versatile, professional, reliable, defensively solid and at 31, I reckon he has a few good years left him in yet.

Should we now take the option to extend his contract to June 2028 to keep potential suitors away?

Absolutely, yes. At the age he he is though, I'm guessing he's going to want to be starting more games. Which makes it all the more surprising to me that we have not used him much more than we have. Perhaps the start he was given on Sunday represents a signal to him that he may well play more games, and that we want him to stay.

In a world of Jan Bednerek, Clement Lenglet and Axel Disasi, he has been by far the best.  To the point where I would trust him to start any game.

Brilliant player. As I said before, his integration into the squad and team has been seamless.
A top quality professional.
