Met him quite a few times + lucky enough to have him as tour guide a number of years ago.
Most recently had my little lad with me and Mick even remembered him by name from when met previously.

An absolute gent and great company

I've never met the man, but judging by the above that's my loss. The world needs lovely people more now than ever.

Did the stadium tour a while back and was fortunate enough to have Mick as our tour guide. Absolute gentleman and a font of all Villa knowledge. I still quote some of his little gems now. Hopefully he gets his health back on track as soon as possible.

Mick was the guide on my two tours of Villa Park and he was wonderful - friendly, warm and knowledgeable. He was as much a part of the club as any player and exactly the type of person you would choose to represent the Villa to visitors.

I was chatting to him on the train back fromMonaco to Nice in January and he was on good form. He looked healthy and said he had a new job at one of the hotels at the NEC. Pointedly he said they were looking after him better than the Villa had done.

I wish him good health and hope he’s on the road to recovery.

I've never met you Mick but from what people are saying on here I wish I had!
Take care mate and know that the Villa love for you is strong and everlasting!

Pretty sure it was Mick that took me and my lad on the tour about 15 years ago. Kal has autism and an LD and Mick coaxed him round brilliantly eventually getting him to lead the "team" out onto pitchside, he still talks about it. Lovely man and I wish him well. Why was he "shafted"?
