I do sometimes wonder what Cash could do to warrant dropping in the minds of some. Like, I agree Torres is badly out of form, but had he committed half the errors that Cash has - not to mention generally looking as comfortable on the ball as a giraffe coming off a particularly bad night's sleep - there'd be calls for him to be put in the dock at The Hague.

It's a strange time to have a go at Cash, he got a pass last weekend. The best of our back 5, back 6 if you count the 50m hole in our midfield.
He had far too much of the ball at the weekend and his delivery was mostly poor. As my 15 year kept on saying, ‘give it to the better players’!

Not blaming Cash for all our ills, in the way some do so with Torres and Onana and I think he (Cash) has been a decent player for us for a number of years, but I really do think we need to try something different there now. Whether that’s Garcia when fit, or Konsa, or horses for courses for the particular game.

If were a mid-table side looking for Europa or Conference league then Cash fits the bill.

If we’re a Europa League team looking to consistently be in the Champions League etc then Cash needs to be downgraded to a squad/back-up player and a better all round player bought in to replace him.

He’s been good at times, and poor at times. Can’t fault his commitment and effort, which we’ve seen lacking from better players.

Winless, goalless and guileless, Aston Villa now face their nemesis. Under Oliver Glasner, Crystal Palace are unbeaten in their five meetings against Villa, winning four and scoring 16 times.

Joking or confirmed? If he's injured again we need to cash him in next summer. He can't cut it.

Probably got time to try and see what he does between now and next summer before making a call on that.

Time for another 2/3 injuries. £50m rip off. We can't afford to keep striking out on huge transfers.

He’s been withdrawn from Belgium squad. So frustrating.

Again there’s probably still time before deciding on whether he’s a strike out or now. With this injury he might miss a game or two, we don’t know yet

Which means we might see at least Malen on the flanks but I did see Barkley training soooo :)
