Martinez
Cash, Konsa, Mings, Maatsen
Tielemans, McGinn
Malen, Rogers, Guessand
Watkins

We can hardly be as bad again
Would probably go with this.

Been thinking back to our first bad run under Unai, when from memory we got tonked at home by Leicester, Liverpool away and Arsenal at home in successive weeks. Didnt we scrape a 1-0 at home to Palace to stop the rot and then weht on a great run.

Their support outside of London is shite.

I've never met any outside of the CR and double digit SE postcodes. They are a locals' team. Can't see what appeal the team would have outside of that area tbh

Getting out of and into that area at that time on a Sunday for a game that's on TV; I can see the appeal of not going...

One of the many reasons I love having been born a Villa fan is that we don't have any of the drum and Ultras wank going on...

It used to be you had 10% off a season ticket if you were a CR council tax payer.

we will come out flying and we will win.

If we parade all our latest summer signings before kick-off, it could help give the team and crowd a lift.

We don't let them bring a drum do we?
Oh don't! I've still got a migraine from the one they brought into Wembley stadium (with the illicit fireworks while I got my handbag-sized hairspray confiscated: riddle me that???)

Let's do 'em under the Villa Park lights 3-0.

No, I haven't had a drink!

Aston-Lee is asleep. I'll ask him for his prediction tomorrow. Shocking thread title, by the way. Good to see a poll, though. B-.

Yep, don't get me started on that Wembley farce. If ever we needed an early goal it was then.

I dunno. Maybe we could just have one combined thread for pre-match, match and post-match from now on? Need something to change the luck.

Hear hear. Pre-match thread creation should be the domain of Legion and Bad English only.

Why not just combine them all along with previous seasons" too. A Palace one-stop shop.....
