We are desperate for width and movement. Watkins is static, Rogers anonymous again. It is going to be a bloody long season.

I remember 3 games at start of 97-98.
0-1 Leicester
0-4 Blackburn
0-1 Newcastle

Why don't you remember the fourth? We lost that too, 2-3 at Spurs. Come on, you're the memory-man on here...

Onana is a complete dud, guys. How much more evidence is required? Just before half time, he actually completed a forward pass to Tielemans. Get McGinn in there, a bit of fight and heart anyway.

Emery won't last the season.  Too many poor decisions, too wrapped up in worrying about the opposition.  The incompetence of his mates in tbe transfer market haven’t helped, but it's looking like hes lost the dressing room.

Just a tad OTT.

Half arsed thunder can'ts like Pau and Onana are the sort of players that can get a manager the sack, mind.

Something is amiss at the club.

Coaching. Once again only one team looks like they've been coached and it ain't us.
Or...over coached at times?

It is amazing what a bit of pace can do .  A route one has done us .  We are so slow , we are not playing. with the urgency like we are one down

Don’t worry, we will do that from 85 mins onwards.

I knew about that, he wanted the games without a goal run....

Dreadful goal to concede.
Slow build up, no pace & nobody taking risks.

They've got their goal & will do nothing but waste time. It's up to us to do something.

And we are choosing not to play with width that’s the worst thing. We need players in (this summer is a mess, restrictions or not) but we can still put out a better balanced side. We look stale.

That’s even worse.

My feed is currently showing ads for kabaddi.

Think I'd rather watch that, TBH.

The first half v Blackburn is one of the worst i've seen from Villa. Considering the side we had it could qualify as the worst.
