Very surprised that Malen doesn't start. Maybe Uni wants to keep it tight and be more progressive in the second half..

Unaiball. Bore everybody to death for 70 minutes unless we get an early goal, then make a couple of subs and hope/pray we can get the winner. It's a formula that works, why change it?
It’s all a bit Steve Bruce.

Could be a back 3 with Kamara dropping in!

Disappointing not to see Malen starting, but Unai for some reason doesn't seem to rate him.

Well fuckety, Mings and Pau at long last. Let's see.

Odd that Emery switched Kamara back there the last day when Torres was on the bench.

I don't like the lack of balance in the team. The 2 x LCBs and Onana next to Kamara in midfield. Ideal game to have finally given Malen a start, very little pace in that team.

It really depends on how expansive Brentford choose to be. Pace is fairly useless if they've got ten behind the ball.

If I was Malen i'd be thinking of moving on.

I’m not sure what Malen has to do to get a start…

Score and assist when he comes on.

And nobody would blame him.

Crazy take. Starting someone who has been our top striker for years and has five in his last four matches against Brentford. Unai must be mad.

I really do not understand having a 3rd keeper when you could have at least another outfield kid there.

Is there a rule I'm missing?

Malen has a big chance today and in the next few weeks, no Bailey or Ramsey, the traffic in front of him has  cleared but he needs to make big impact off the bench. I still see him as a bit of a Darius Vassell and he goes for power like every time (which isnt a bad thing)

I believe there is a rule in Europe but not the Premier League. Brentford only have one goalkeeper on the bench.
