In spite of your obvious personal bias I don’t think there’s anything that suggests Kamara at centre back makes the defence water tight.

We have the best defensive midfielder in the league who is currently fit (maybe full stop if Rodri can't come back to what he was) why shunt him about?
It's easier to play the opposite side than it is to change position, especially when you're likely to be the covering centre half, as Ty would be.
Stick in Kamara, he was fine there last season when he had to drop in. Tielemans back into midfield is crucial. See how Onana goes next to him.
