It's exactly the side I expected as we have the extra central midfielder to nullify theirs.  Bench is a tad thin, although some talent there.  Not sure Buendia offers much, we do have Barkley to come back but we need a couple of signings to push the quality up.

I rate Buendia higher than Barkley tbh

McGinn right, Youri central, Morgan left I assume.

YT back at 10 id say. Surprising selection there and at LCB particularly!

That's the line-up I'd have gone for given Newcastle's physicality. Hopefully, Evann can come off the bench to apply the coup de grâce.

Yes, him Malen and Maatsen offer good pace options later on from the bench.

So our senior players missing are Martínez, García and Barkley....is that it?

I hope we’re not going to try and battle their midfield. If we do that I think we’ll lose. We beat them last time basically by bypassing their midfield and negating it in the main.

Couldn't they get JJ to play a half with each team and make up his mind at 3pm who he likes best?

Does no Bailey on the bench mean he’s certain to leave?

Looks like the full backs will be pushing up today!
