First player to win two major European trophies in the same season, well done Evann. He played well when he came on.

Lucky charlatan  ;)

Now he is a Palace European trophy winning legend surely we can increase the fee to £2.50.

Has he met the criteria to trigger the obligation to buy?

Unfortunately I seem to recall there were no clauses whereby they had to buy him.

There were - goals, assists and appearances and he hasn't met any of them. He was injured for a while which made it more difficult.

After the victory parade I was chatting to a Villa fan from Leicester way, on the train back. He reckoned a couple of his Palace supporting mates were enthusiastic and impressed with Evann, they were very much hoping that it becomes a permanent deal.

Im sure there’s a better player in there than we’ve seen but if we could get our money back that would be great.

Is there a scenario where he comes back an.plays well á la Emi Buendia?

He probably reminds them of Eze who also didn't start off well in the prem. I reckon next year will be his make-break season depending on given any chances.

I watched him last night, tidy enough. Although the best thing he did was a defensive midfield tackle. He was probably the best back up to Cash we’ve signed to date.

Seems to have done better there and a better fit.

I hope that win has triggered a buy clause. Does he get two medals now?

He didn't look like he really wanted to be here, or believed he was good enough to.

Also, driven the high turnover of players we've had with loans and others coming and going, he seems unique in that the other players didn't trust him either.

Yea he looked way out of his depth and I’d guess probably felt it.
Palace supporting work colleague quite likes him. Maybe the expectations are lower or he feels less pressure there. Hopefully he stays there for everyones sake including his own.

Well, we finished 4th and won the Europa whilst Palace finished 15th and won the Conference. There's a big difference between the quality needed for one over the other. He probably is very much a 15th and Conference player whilst being very much not a 4th and Europa player. If we can get out even on him it would be a great deal.
