Was chatting to a big Ligue 1 fanatic last night at the Paris FC vs Toulouse game. He was asking how Bizot was getting on, and gave him rave reviews for his performances with Brest.

Was never a massive Olsen basher from a technical standpoint, but the (lack of) confidence factor was hard to ignore, whether it was coming from Olsen, the other players, or the stands. What I like about Bizot is that when he has made clangers, that hasn’t pervaded the rest of his game and he has managed to right himself.

This fella I was talking to, by the way, was another huge Guessand fan and was surprised he was struggling with us.
Anyhow, good to hear they have been highly regarded.

Can we sort the cash out by selling Martinez and using the money on a forward?

Solid as hell tonight and at least one excellent save as well, very well played. Marco. Bizot.

He made 1 mistake with the parry for the disallowed goal (which was similar to the one Emi did at the weekend) but he got away with it and was superb for the rest of the game.

I’d keep him in nets for Sunday. Brilliant.

He was excellent tonight. We didn't miss Martinez at all. Good to have such a talented, and confident, understudy (and perhaps future number one).

He came as a back up and is proving to be the perfect back up keeper.
Given his age I think he’d be quite happy staying as a back up, too, so won’t rock the boat when we bring in Martinez’s replacement

He’s a keeper. In both senses.
