Is he handsome? Kinda looks like he might be but I can't always tell, too damn straight.

I wouldn't say it's his strongest attribute.

Think a young Lurch from the Addam's Family.

Bienvenue le nouveaux numero deux dans le Monde.

Welkom bij de nieuwe nummer twee van de wereld, surely?

Well, obviously I realised he was Dutch...

Welcome, Marco.

I look forward to the Holte singing 'Nobody Beats the Biz' ever time you play.

This guy looks like a much better fit as a #2 than Olsen for a club in our position. Whereas Olsen is onto his 12th senior team, and hasn’t played more than 57 games for any of them, this guy has been the established #1 for AZ and Brest, and has racked-up at least 125 games for both. He gives a lot more confidence that he is a known quantity, rather than someone who has fouled his way into an elevated position. Interesting that he came through the Ajax academy as well.

Yeah I’m not sure he’s coming in at no 2
if Emi goes I reckon he’ll be the no 1

An excellent bit of business

●He looks to be a better keeper than Olsen
● His wages will be much less than Olsen's (who was on £50k pw £2.6m pa) - Bizot was on c.£12k
● The lower wages will help with SCR. Evenly if we were to double Bizot money to £25kpw, that would still only be half of what Olsen got.

Fuck me Olsen must of Rubbed a magic lamp, trod on a black cat, had a bird shit on him and a few other things that bring you that sort of luck

£50K per week - my God

Played for Roma  and being 1st choice national keeper probably upped his salary, assuming Sadd's 50k is correct.

Not necessarily with Dutch names. If he was French or Spanish maybe.

Interesting how this one goes. Could be a masterstroke of Sels like proportion if Emi goes and we can't get our first choice replacement.

I'm going to go with the silent 't', I think it sounds better.

Seems an odd career move for him if Emi is staying, after playing for a decent Ligue 1 side, I wonder if he's been told he can fight it out for Number 1 with whoever else we bring in, if Emi gets his move away ?

I was surprised to see Travers from Bournemouth go to Everton for £4M, he was the one that had a blinder against us wasn't he ? I thought he would have been a decent back up to whoever is our Number 1.

I am surprised you don't know by now that it is written in the rules that all sub goalkeepers will have a blinder against Aston Villa.  See also Palmer, A, Kepa.
