Fifth goal in ten appearances for Ben Broggio yesterday. Good goal as well.

Yeah, it was a tidy finish. Hopefully he gets a hat-trick on Weds. night.

Quote
Donyell Malen joining Roma on loan from Aston Villa has arguably been the best January signing since Fiorentina borrowed Mohamed Salah from Chelsea a little over a decade ago.

He is a late contender for Serie A MVP and has a slim chance of being Capocannoniere (Serie A’s top scorer) despite being in the league for less than four months.

For context, no one has been as prolific as Malen in the history of midwinter transfers: not even Mario Balotelli when he left Manchester City for Milan in 2013.

Unreal to let him go.

Louie Barry scored in last night's Stockport win; next, Wembley.

Great run and finish too. Let out a lot of frustration in his celebrarion, it's been a difficult period for him with injuries.

Weirdly, though he struggled with his Ch'ship loan at Hull, Stockport might now be in that division next season and he could thrive as he seems to be at a club that suits him. Another year-loan, hoping he does well and then we sell him for good with a sell-on clause?

County's record transfer is about £1m and he's got to be worth more than that.

He's 23 in the summer, I hope we let him go now for something reasonable so he can settle somewhere. He can't have long left on his contract, either.
