Finished 0-0. Would have taken that before kick-off but disappointing having missed so many chances. Eight points clear of bottom-placed Leicester though they have a game in hand and we play there next week. Vital that we don't lose.

Maya Hijikata becomes latest Villa player to win an international tournament after Japan defeat Australia in Asian Cup Final. She didn't play in the knock-out stages but did feature in two group games, scoring in the 11-0 twatting of India.
