What’s happened to that one we paid £250,000 for? Spanish/South American girl?
That’s lot of money. Two and half Bruce Rioch’s worth.

Think we play Blues next in it.

Aston Villa Women can confirm Marc Zahr has made a minority investment into the football club and will soon join its board of directors.

Zahr is co-president of investment firm Blue Owl Capital Inc. and is a member of the company’s board of directors.

Nassef Sawiris, Aston Villa Chairman, said: “This investment is a testament to the potential of Aston Villa Women and underscores the belief in the WSL’s trajectory. Marc brings a wealth of experience to the football club and we are excited for him to be a part of our continued growth on and off the pitch.”

V Sports was advised by Clean Sheet Capital as financial advisor and Northridge as legal counsel. Marc Zahr was advised by Hogan Lovells as legal counsel.

Clean Sheet Capital eh? Is Bolton Wanderers' stadium still called the ToughSheet Arena or whatever?

Aston Villa Women's Football Club issued 111 shares for £5.5m (per unit: £49.5k) on 15 Oct.

The 111 shares represent 10% of total issues shares, aligning to reports in late June that Villa / V Sports agreed to sell 10% of AVWFC to external investors at a £55m valuation.

Confirms that this is a deal lined up before 30 June and a very easy approval for the PL. Reinforces the exceptional valuation achieved by Chelsea Women both on the Intra group sale and the Alexis Ohanian investment

For anyone thinking of going to the sha game the venue and date have changed. It was meant to be Sun 23rd at VP but is now Friday 21st at Bescot, 7pm KO.
