I'm just glad the upturn in results at the end of the season bumped the price up

But would also prevent us from deliberately inflating the value of the other 90% as a PSR fiddle, so I'm not sure what the benefit is.

It also adds a level of authenticity to the value. We can say person x is willing to actually stump up £5m for 10% so the total value is genuinely £50m.
Absolutely. It definitely adds credence to the financial transaction for 10% of the shares to be owned outside the Group.

Signed Roebuck from Barca, clearly a very decent keeper prospect at one point, interesting to see how she gets on.

Good point. If we had got relegated I wonder what the valuation would be.

That’s a good signing as hopefully is the Dutch defender signed yesterday…target the weakest area first and keeper / back four definitely needed work

Aston Villa have signed Netherlands midfielder Jill Baijings on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old joins from Bayern Munich, having spent last season on loan at Villa.

She has eight caps for the Netherlands and played for Heerenveen, SGS Essen and Bayer Leverkusen before joining Bayern in 2023.

She made 15 appearances in all competitions for Villa last season, scoring once.

Baijings becomes Villa's third signing of the summer after the arrivals of Netherlands defender Lynn Wilms and England goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck.

It should help to raise our profile in China.

I'm assuming they called her Saint Lucia?
